Jr NTR to Play Skanda in Trivikram’s Mythological Epic, Shoot Begins in 2026

A major collaboration is on the horizon as Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas gear up for a high-budget mythological film. Producer Naga Vamsi recently shared exciting updates about the project, revealing that Jr NTR will play the role of Lord Karthikeya, also known as Skanda. According to Vamsi, the character demands a deeply emotional and physically intense performance, and Jr NTR is already preparing himself mentally for the transformative role.

The team had initially planned to release an announcement video, but after witnessing the visually stunning teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, they chose to hold back in order to deliver a more impactful reveal of their own. As for the schedule, the shoot is expected to begin in the latter half of 2026, once Trivikram completes his current project starring Venkatesh Daggubati. With two powerhouse names joining forces, the film has already generated significant buzz and is shaping up to be one of Telugu cinema’s most ambitious ventures.
