Godari Gattupaina Set for May 8 Release

Sumanth Prabhas is gearing up for his next film Godari Gattupaina, which is slated to hit theatres on May 8. Directed by debutant Subhash Chandra, the film marks a shift in setting for the actor—from Telangana roots in Mem Famous to the vibrant Godavari region.

The film stars Nidhi Pradeep as the female lead, with Jagapathi Babu playing a key role. It is produced by Abhinav Rao under the banner Red Puppet Productions.

To bring authenticity to the narrative, Sumanth Prabhas reportedly put in extra effort to master the Godavari dialect, adding depth to his performance. Much of the film has been shot on location, capturing the region’s natural beauty and cultural nuances.

The supporting cast includes Rajiv Kanakala, Devi Prasad, Sudharshan, Raj Kumar Kasireddy and Rohith Krishna Varma, along with veteran actress Laila in an important role.

On the technical front, the film features music by Naga Vamsi Krishna and cinematography by Sai Santosh.

With its mix of regional authenticity, humour, and emotional storytelling, Godari Gattupaina promises to deliver a rooted yet entertaining cinematic experience.
