Gayapadda Simham Locks May Release Date

Gayapadda Simham, starring Tharun Bhascker and Faria Abdullah, has officially locked its release date, with the film set to hit theatres on May 1. Directed by Kasyap Sreenivas, the project is positioned as a youthful entertainer with strong comedic elements.

The announcement was made at a special event attended by noted producer Dil Raju, who also confirmed that he has acquired the distribution rights for the film. He revealed that he decided to back the project after being impressed by its teaser and concept.

Interestingly, Dil Raju suggested a possible shift in release plans considering the proximity to Peddi, which is slated to release on April 30. The team has reportedly taken this into account while planning their strategy.

The film revolves around youngsters aspiring to move to the United States, exploring their struggles and ambitions in the backdrop of stricter immigration rules that followed Donald Trump’s presidency. The makers have even incorporated this theme into their promotional campaign, hinting at more unique elements to be revealed soon.

Described as a complete entertainer packed with humour, the film promises a light-hearted narrative without targeting or offending any group. Alongside the lead pair, the cast also includes Manasa Chowdhary and others in key roles.
