Chiranjeevi Collaborates with ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ Director for Mega157; Team Introduced in a Unique Video

The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter), captures the enthusiasm and admiration of the team as they greet Chiranjeevi with references to his iconic dialogues. The 2-minute 41-second clip shows various team members introducing themselves in a fun yet respectful manner.

In the video, Chiranjeevi is first welcomed by the assistant directors, followed by additional dialogue writer Narayana and co-writer Sai Krishna, who also serves as the film’s executive producer. Production designer A.S. Prakash and editor Tammiraju make their introductions, with the latter humorously cautioning Chiranjeevi about shooting extensively. Cinematographer Sameer Reddy assures him of quick work, while music director Bheems Ceciroleo praises the megastar. The video concludes with greetings from producers Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, Chiranjeevi’s daughter, before director Anil Ravipudi himself steps in.

The film, currently referred to as #Mega157, is slated for a Sankranti 2026 release. The makers captioned the video, "Meeting our gang of #Mega157. Loved it, @anilravipudi! I can already imagine how entertaining the shoot is going to be!"

Director Anil Ravipudi has established himself as a hitmaker, delivering multiple box-office successes. His last film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Daggubati Venkatesh, became a massive blockbuster, grossing over ₹300 crore.

The upcoming Chiranjeevi-starrer was officially launched on Ugadi with a grand pooja ceremony, attended by notable industry figures like Victory Venkatesh and Allu Aravind. The legendary K. Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot, adding to the film’s prestige.

With a powerhouse team, a celebrated director, and Chiranjeevi leading the charge, #Mega157 is already shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited films of 2026.
