Sarhad Bheemla Nayak is a Sub Inspector of police who is strict with his rules. He does his duty along with forest officials and excise department and catches Daniel Sekhar with cartons of liquor. The egoistic Sekhar gets physical with his constables and Bheemla drags him to the station. It doesn't take really long for things to get heated up as both of them do not let their guard down. The humor kicks in amid the racy dialogues and it is truly entertaining. Bheemla Nayak's wife Suguna(Nitya Menen) is a firebrand too and she acts as fuel in the fire. Sagar K Chandra fleshed her character well in the film. The tuff war continues and Daniel shocks Bheemla with a video. The transformation of Bheemla Nayak's character from a strict police officer to a ruthless mass thug is the highlight of this remake. It is indeed a treat to all Pawan Kalyan fans who haven't watched their favourite hero in a complete mass role for really long now. But Trivikaram's politically charged dialogues for his best friend are evidently unnecessary but fans see enjoying them big time. The first half ends with a decent bang.

The second half begins and Pawan Kalyan is no more a cop now as he unveils so called wild animal in him. Things get really bad and Daniel's father(Samutrakhani) decides to involve Suguna in their face-off. The lodge fight scene is choreographed really well and it is not just a whistle-worthy moment to Pawan Kalyan fans but for everyone. The movie starts slowing down and the flashback is not told properly. Too many fight scenes are a letdown for the audience as they work on screen when they are necessary. The tribal hamlets from interior Nallamala forests were well depicted. The climax could have been better made after all the mass scenes. The emotional scenes are also not sharp enough.

In Bheemla Nayak Pawan Kalyan's unique and trademark antics are spot on and the simple dance steps are entertaining. Rana Daggubati is top-notch and he doesn't need to prove his mettle as an actor anymore. Nitya Menen is decent in her role but Samyukta Menen delivers a very mature performance in this flick and she will sure bag many projects with this.

Well, it isn't fair to compare this one with the original but one can't stop doing it as it is announced as the remake. Ayyappanum Koshiyum is a story-driven film whereas Bheemla Nayak is entirely driven by the stars. Anyhow, fans will truly go crazy with this film.
