Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Sci-Fi Thriller ‘AA22xA6’ to Use Cutting-Edge Tech; Budget Still Undecided Brief:

Allu Arjun is teaming up with Jawan and Theri director Atlee for an ambitious sci-fi action thriller, tentatively titled AA22xA6. The project has generated immense buzz, with many speculating it might become the most expensive Indian film ever made.

In a recent update shared via Gulte, Atlee spoke about three key aspects of the film during an interaction. First, he addressed the widespread rumours regarding its staggering budget. “There’s been no final decision on the budget yet,” the director clarified, though many reports suggest it could surpass previous records given the scale and vision involved.

Next-Gen Technology at Play

Atlee revealed that AA22xA6 will introduce brand-new visual technology. The team has reportedly spent extensive time in R&D to develop a unique viewing experience. A major portion of the film will be shot in highly controlled studio setups, where extensive VFX and advanced graphics will be added in post-production.

“We’re pushing boundaries,” Atlee said, indicating the use of innovative tools that could redefine sci-fi storytelling in Indian cinema.

Release Date? Not My Job, Says Atlee

On being asked about the release date, Atlee humorously distanced himself from the pressure. “The release date isn’t my stress. That’s for producer Kalanithi Maran to handle,” he said, referring to the head of Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the project.

Currently in its pre-production phase in Mumbai, the team is meticulously working through set design, tech integration, and casting before cameras start rolling.
