Vikram Prabhu’s Cop Drama ‘Sirai’ Set for December 25 Release

Vikram Prabhu’s much-anticipated cop drama Sirai has been officially announced for a December 25 release. The film is directed by Suresh Rajakumari and is based on a story by Tamizh, known for his debut directorial Taanakkaran.

Sirai marks a reunion for Vikram Prabhu and Tamizh, following the police-themed Taanakkaran. Shooting for the film wrapped up in May 2025. This project also serves as the directorial debut of Suresh Rajakumari, who co-wrote the screenplay with Tamizh.

The film is produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the 7 Screen Studios banner, with LK Vishnu Kumar as co-producer, Arun K and Manikandan as executive producers, and Arosam serving as the creative producer. LK Akshay Kumar, SS Lalit Kumar’s son, also stars in the film. The cast further includes Anishma Anilkumar, making her Tamil debut, and Anantha.

Music for Sirai is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, who also contributed lyrics alongside Karthik Netha and Sarathi. The technical team includes Madhesh Manickam as cinematographer, Philomin Raj as editor, and Raghava Sanjivi handling production design.
