Suriya 46 titled Vishwanath & Sons ; First Look & Release Window Revealed

The much-awaited Suriya 46 has officially been titled Vishwanath & Sons, with the makers unveiling a striking first-look poster and confirming a July theatrical release window.

The poster presents Suriya in what appears to be an older version of Sanjay Ramaswamy from Ghajini — this time holding a baby and a feeding bottle. The look instantly sparked nostalgia and curiosity, prompting fans to wonder: what if Sanjay had grown older and embraced fatherhood?

Sharing the poster, Suriya described the film as “love with a difference, family with a purpose,” promising a wholesome entertainer arriving in July.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film reportedly explores the emotional dynamics between a middle-aged man (played by Suriya) and his younger lover, portrayed by Mamitha Baiju. The cast also includes Raveena Tandon, Bhavani Sre and Radikaa Sarathkumar.

Interestingly, Venky Atluri recently revealed that Suriya’s character draws parallels to his iconic role in Ghajini, a detail later confirmed by producer Naga Vamsi. The project is bankrolled under Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.

The film also marks Raveena Tandon’s return to Tamil cinema after Aalavandhan (2001), where she starred alongside Kamal Haasan.

On the technical front, music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, reuniting with Venky Atluri after Vaathi and Lucky Bhaskar, and with Suriya after Soorarai Pottru. Cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi, while editing is by Navin Nooli.

With production already wrapped, the makers are expected to announce the exact July release date soon. Meanwhile, Netflix has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights.
