Lokesh Kanagaraj Unveils Modha Rathiri Poster, Backs Fresh Talent

Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar have teamed up for the upcoming film Modha Rathiri, a rural comedy drama directed by debutant Raja Karuppasamy. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers as their third Tamil venture after Good Bad Ugly and Dude.

The first poster of the film was unveiled by Lokesh Kanagaraj on social media, with the director extending his wishes to the team. According to the makers, the story revolves around a unique premise set during a wedding night, where unexpected twists, hidden truths, and chaos unfold, turning a new beginning into a life-altering experience.

Producer Naveen Yerneni shared that the script immediately stood out for its originality and engaging narrative, adding that the team is excited to bring a fresh and entertaining story to audiences. Director Raja Karuppasamy expressed gratitude for the opportunity, highlighting the support and creative freedom provided by the production house, which has boosted his confidence for his debut project.

Apart from the lead pair, the film features a diverse ensemble cast including Chetan, A Venkatesh, Bagavathi Perumal, Abdool Lee, Shelly Kishore, Sangeetha Balan, Banupriya, Sumithra Devi L, Varshini Karmegham, Karthikeyan, Velan, and Kowshik Kabilan. The shoot is currently underway.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Surendran Paranjothi, editing by Ashok Arjunan, and music composed by Bharath Sankar. Costume design is handled by Poornima Ramaswamy, with A Balumahendra serving as the art director.
