Harish Kalyan’s ‘Diesel’ Teaser Fuels Action, Romance & Twists for a Diwali Release

Harish Kalyan, known for picking unique scripts, is ready to entertain audiences this Diwali with his upcoming film Diesel. After hits like Parking and Lubber Pandhu, the actor teams up with director Shanmugam Muthusamy for this action-packed drama set against a North Chennai backdrop.

The makers unveiled the teaser, with Harish sharing it online, captioning: “A stubborn dream, a genuine effort. Here’s the #Diesel teaser for you all #DieselDiwali.” Unlike his earlier family-friendly roles, Harish now steps into a rugged avatar to appeal to a wider audience.

Starring Harish Kalyan and Athulya Ravi in lead roles, Diesel also features an ensemble cast including Vinay Rai, Sai Kumar, Ananya, Karunaas, Ramesh Thilak, Kaali Venkat, Vivek Prasanna, Sachin Kedhekar, Zakir Husain, and more.

With music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas—whose chart-topping Beer Song has already gone viral—the film also boasts stellar cinematography by M.S. Prabhu and Richard M. Nathan, and crisp editing by San Lokesh.

Slated for release on October 17, Diesel is all set to clash at the box office with Dhruv Vikram’s Bison and Pradeep Ranganathan’s Love Insurance Kompany, promising a fiery festive showdown.
