Allu Arjun has begun filming a major schedule for his ambitious sci-fi action thriller AA22xA6, directed by Atlee, in Mumbai. Announced officially on the actor’s birthday this April, the film is currently in the thick of production. This outdoor shoot, reported to last nearly three months, marks Allu Arjun’s longest stint away from Hyderabad. The schedule is packed with elaborate action sequences and grand set pieces typical of Atlee’s blockbuster storytelling style.
Following this Mumbai schedule, Allu Arjun is set to fly to the United States for portions that involve intensive VFX work. The film, which already has audiences buzzing due to its scale and scope, features Deepika Padukone as the main female lead. A recently released video confirmed her involvement, showing the actress in action—discussing the script with Atlee and performing stunt sequences with VFX aids, including a dramatic forward-charge scene.
Mrunal Thakur has already joined the team during earlier shoots, while Janhvi Kapoor and Bhagyashri Borse are rumored to be part of the cast, though official confirmation is still awaited. With a jaw-dropping budget of over ₹500 crore, AA22xA6 is poised to become one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. It boasts cutting-edge visual effects from international studios and music by Sai Abhyankar, further upping the cinematic scale.
