Varavu Trailer Unleashes Joju George in a Fierce Revenge Saga

The trailer of Varavu, starring Joju George and directed by Shaji Kailas, has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a gritty and violent action thriller. The film features Joju as a former convict driven by rage, stepping out of prison with unfinished business and a thirst for revenge.

The trailer hints at a raw narrative centred around local gang conflicts, echoing the intense tone seen in Joju’s earlier films like Antony, Pani, and Porinju Mariam Jose. Packed with action and emotional intensity, Varavu promises a hard-hitting cinematic experience.

The film also features a strong ensemble cast including Arjun Ashokan, Sukanya, Murali Gopy, Baiju Santhosh, Baburaj, Vani Vishwanath, and Bobby Kurian.

Varavu marks Joju George’s return to the action genre after films like Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal and Valathu Vashathe Kallan. It also sees Shaji Kailas revisiting familiar territory after directing action films like Kaduva and Kaapa, both starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. His recent outings, including Alone with Mohanlal and Hunt, did not perform strongly at the box office.

Produced by Naisy Reji under the Olga Productions banner, the film features dialogues by AK Sajan. The technical crew includes music by Sam CS, cinematography by S Saravanan, and editing by Shameer Muhammed. The action sequences are choreographed by a team featuring Stunt Silva, Kalai Kingson, Phoenix Prabu, Rajashekar Master, Thavasi Raj, Mafia Sasi, and Jackie Johnson.

Originally scheduled for a May 1 release, Varavu has now been delayed, with a new release date expected to be announced soon.
