‘Unmadham’ Teaser Hints at a Chilling Curse Thriller with Kunchacko Boban

The teaser of Unmadham has been unveiled, offering a tense and intriguing glimpse into a mystery thriller led by Kunchacko Boban and Lijomol Jose.

Marking the directorial debut of editor-turned-filmmaker Kiran Das, known for his work on acclaimed films such as Joji, Ambili, and Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Unmadham appears to blend psychological tension with supernatural undertones.

The teaser begins with Lijomol Jose’s character confronting her husband, a police constable played by Kunchacko Boban, over his desire to move out of the government quarters allotted to policemen and their families. Soon, the teaser shifts into darker territory, hinting at a mysterious case believed to bring misfortune and tragic consequences to anyone who investigates it.

Through a series of unsettling visuals and conflicting opinions surrounding the case, the teaser builds suspense while keeping the core mystery under wraps.

The ensemble cast includes Siddique, Sudheesh, Vishakh Nair, Sabu Mon, Kottayam Nazeer, Gokulan, Arun Cherukavil, Unni Lalu, Shaju Sreedhar, Krishnaprabha, Kiran Peethambaran, Vishnu, Raina Radhakrishnan, Sijoy Varghese, and Vigneswar Suresh.

Apart from directing, Kiran Das is also handling the film’s editing. The technical team includes composer Mujeeb Majeed, cinematographer Arjun Seth, production designer Dileep Nath, and stunt choreographer Kalai Kingson.

The makers are yet to announce the film’s release date.
