The Mystery Hidden in the Hills of Idukki Unfolds: ‘Koodothram’ First Look Poster Released

The first look poster of Koodothram, a much-anticipated Malayalam film announced jointly by the legends Mammootty and Mohanlal, has been officially unveiled.
The digital release of the poster was carried out on social media by Malayalam cinema’s Lady Superstar Manju Warrier, along with celebrated cinematographers Jomon T. John, Jimshi Khalid, Shaiju Khalid, Sujith Vasudev, and Anand C. Chandran.

Blending three compelling genres, horror, mystery, and family drama Koodothram has already sparked strong curiosity and discussion among cinema lovers.
Set against the breathtaking rural landscapes of Idukki, the film draws deeply from the region’s lush greenery and mist-covered hills. The first look hints at a narrative where beauty is intertwined with fear and intrigue, casting a shadow of suspense over Idukki’s serene charm.

The film is directed by actor Baiju Ezhupunna, with the screenplay written by Santhosh Idukki. Koodothram is produced under the banner of Sanjo Productions.
The ensemble cast includes Salim Kumar, Dinoy Paulose, Sreenath Bhasi, Alencier, Joy Mathew, Sreejith Ravi, Rachel David, Diya, and Veena Nair in key roles. Renowned composer Gopi Sundar brings his musical brilliance to the film, handling both songs and background score.
Cinematography is helmed by Jisbin Sebastian and Shiji Jayadevan, with editing by Grayson A.C.A. The film’s sound mixing is done by M.R. Rajakrishnan. High-octane action sequences are choreographed by Phoenix Prabhu, while branding and promotions are managed by Tikspeak.
Unraveling layers of mystery, Koodothram is set to hit theatres in the second week of February. The secret hidden within Idukki’s rustic beauty will soon reveal itself on the big screen, and the wait won’t be long.
