Soothravakyam Postponed: Shine Tom Chacko, Vincy Aloshious-Starrer Now Releasing on July 11

The much-anticipated Malayalam thriller Soothravakyam, directed by Eugien Jos Chirammel and starring Shine Tom Chacko and Vincy Aloshious, will now release worldwide on July 11, as announced by the film’s producer Srikanth Kandragula via Instagram. The statement cited "technical reasons" for the delay but assured fans that the film is ready for a global theatrical release in both Malayalam and Telugu.

The producer acknowledged the many hurdles the film has faced, from production to release. "Soothravakyam has overcome several challenges," he wrote, adding that the team’s motivation has been the unwavering support of fans. He further stated, "We believe the film has shaped up beautifully, and we request your continued support as we bring this story to audiences around the world."

The film recently came under scrutiny after actress Vincy Aloshious alleged drug use and misconduct on set, specifically naming her co-star Shine Tom Chacko. Shine, who had earlier faced arrest for drug possession, was granted bail and later issued a final warning by FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala).

Soothravakyam is based on a story by Rejin S Babu. The film’s cinematography is by Sreeram Chandrasekharan, editing by Nithish K T R, and music by Jean P Johnson. Despite the off-screen controversies, the makers remain hopeful about the film's positive reception and box office prospects.
