Roshan Mathew and Zarin Shihab’s ‘Ithiri Neram’ Promises a Heartfelt Second Chance at Love

After nearly two years since its announcement, the much-awaited romantic drama Ithiri Neram has finally unveiled its first-look poster, featuring Roshan Mathew and Zarin Shihab. The makers shared the poster on social media with the caption, “Really excited to share this! Something made with a lot of passion, sweat and tears. It's a love story that connects with all of us.”

Directed by Prasanth Vijay, known for Athisayangalude Venal and Daayam, the film explores the emotional layers of love and reunion, captured beautifully in its tagline — “First love gets a second chance.” The poster shows Roshan and Zarin’s characters walking along a quiet roadside, reflecting the film’s grounded and intimate tone.

Roshan Mathew described Ithiri Neram as a “small film made with a big heart” when sharing the poster on his Instagram Stories. The cast also includes Anand Manmadhan and Nandu in pivotal roles.

On the technical front, the film features cinematography by Rakesh Dharan, editing by Francies Louis, and music and lyrics by Basil CJ. It is produced by Jomon Jacob, Dijo Augustine, Einstin Zac Paul, Vishnu Rajan, and Sajin R Raj under the banners of Mankind Cinemas, Einstin Media, and Symmetry Cinemas, with filmmaker Jeo Baby presenting the project.

While the release date is yet to be announced, the makers confirmed that Ithiri Neram will arrive in theatres soon, promising a soulful story of love, time, and rediscovery.
