Nivin Pauly’s Sarvam Maya Locks Christmas Release

Nivin Pauly has officially confirmed that Sarvam Maya will hit theatres on December 25, unveiling a new poster to mark the announcement. While the makers had earlier hinted at a Christmas-season release, the exact date was revealed only recently. The film brings Nivin together with director Akhil Sathyan for the first time, following Akhil’s well-received 2023 directorial Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, starring Fahadh Faasil and Anjana Jayaprakash.

The new poster features Nivin Pauly standing calmly with an oil lamp, while Aju Varghese appears visibly frightened holding a bell, and Janardhanan looks tense beside them. The makers captioned the release, “Fun is about to get spooky!”, signalling a quirky tone.

Sarvam Maya is described as a musical romantic drama enriched with humour and light fantasy elements. Preity Mukhundhan plays the female lead, with Althaf Salim and influencer-turned-producer Riya Shibu also part of the ensemble cast.

The film’s technical crew features Justin Prabhakaran as the music composer, Sharan Velayudhan handling cinematography, and Akhil Sathyan doubling as the editor. Sarvam Maya is produced by Rajeev Menon and Ajayya Kumar under the Firefly Films banner.
