Army Chief praises Mohanlal’s legacy and service
Superstar Mohanlal, who was recently honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, received another proud moment of recognition from Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi in New Delhi. The actor, who holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army, expressed his gratitude, calling it “a great honour to receive commendation from the Army Chief.”
Having served in the Territorial Army for over 16 years, Mohanlal said they discussed ways to improve efficiency within the battalion and contribute more to the nation. He also hinted at working on more army-based films in the future, blending his cinematic legacy with his patriotic commitment.
