Mohanlal Completes Dubbing for Patriot Ahead of April Release

With just a few months remaining for the release of Patriot, actor Mohanlal has completed dubbing for his portions in the film. The update was shared on social media by PRO Yuvraj, who posted a video showing Mohanlal stepping out of a Range Rover and heading into a dubbing studio. Captioning the post, Yuvraj wrote, “Some voices do not just speak, they define moments.”

Written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Patriot boasts an ensemble cast featuring Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Kunchacko Boban, Revathy, and Darshana Rajendran, among others. While a teaser has already been unveiled, the makers are yet to disclose details about the film’s storyline.

The film marks a significant reunion of Mohanlal and Mammootty after their brief on-screen appearance together in Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty (2013), directed by Ranjith. Produced by Anto Joseph under his banner, Patriot also sees Mahesh Narayanan serving as one of the editors, alongside Rahul Radhakrishnan.

On the technical front, the film features music by Sushin Shyam, cinematography by Manush Nandan, and action choreography handled by Dhilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Mafia Sasi, and Riyas-Habib.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal continues to stay busy with multiple projects in various stages of production. He is set to reunite with Jeethu Joseph for Drishyam 3 and will next be seen as a police officer named Lovelajan in his 366th film, directed by Tharun Moorthy. His upcoming lineup also includes a project with Vishnu Mohan and a cameo in the first part of Khalifa, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, with a more substantial role planned for the sequel.

Patriot is scheduled to hit screens on April 23.
