Mahesh Narayanan’s Star-Studded Film Gathers Momentum; Mohanlal’s Lineup Sparks More Buzz

Mahesh Narayanan’s much-anticipated multi-starrer project is gaining momentum as it moves into its 8th filming schedule. According to a Manorama Online report, this leg of the shoot will feature powerhouse performers Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Darshana Rajendran. The film already boasts an impressive ensemble that includes Mammootty, Nayanthara, Revathi, Zarin Shihab, and others, marking it as one of the most star-heavy productions in recent Malayalam cinema.

What further elevates the film’s stature is the involvement of celebrated Bollywood cinematographer Manush Nandan, best known for his work on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Happy New Year, and Dunki. His visual style is expected to lend a distinct cinematic flair to this genre-bending entertainer, which aims to push storytelling boundaries while showcasing the best of Malayalam talent.

Mohanlal’s Cinematic Buzz Continues

While fans are thrilled about Mohanlal’s involvement in Mahesh’s film, they have more to celebrate. A subtle but exciting hint about Drishyam 3 was recently dropped by director Jeethu Joseph on Instagram. In what appeared to be an innocuous "Coffee time" post, fans were quick to notice a page in the background titled: “Scene 24 – George Kutty’s house… N/Exit,” sparking widespread speculation about the third installment of the beloved thriller series.

Adding to the excitement, Mohanlal recently made a successful comeback with Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy and co-starring Shobana. The film, a thriller drama, was lauded for its intense narrative and standout performances, particularly by Prakash Varma in a villainous role.

Looking ahead, Mohanlal is also set to star in Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, with Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead.
