First Look of Fahadh Faasil’s 'Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira' Promises a Quirky Take on Love and Marriage

The first look poster of Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, was unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Vishu, sending waves of excitement across Malayalam cinema circles. Directed by Althaf Salim—whose debut film Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela struck a chord with both critics and audiences—this marks his much-anticipated sophomore project.

Kalyani Priyadarshan took to social media to reveal the poster, captioning it, “Their love story was perfect... until the wedding,” hinting at a rom-com loaded with drama, mishaps, and emotional chaos. The intriguing title and tagline have already sparked curiosity, suggesting a light-hearted yet possibly layered narrative that explores the ups and downs of modern relationships.

Backed by Ashiq Usman Productions, the film features Revathi Pillai in a key role, with cinematography by Jinto George, music by Justin Varghese, and editing by Sundar Nayak. Art direction by Ouseph and costumes by Mashar Hamsa add further promise to the film’s aesthetic.

With 70% of the shoot completed in Ernakulam and the rest in Chennai, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira was initially rumoured for a Vishu 2025 release. While an official release date is yet to be announced, the unveiling of the first look confirms that post-production is in full swing.

With Fahadh’s proven knack for nuanced characters and Althaf’s flair for blending humour with heartfelt emotion, this one is shaping up to be a must-watch entertainer.
