First Look of Aiswarya Raj’s Merri Boys Unveiled; Shoot Begins

The makers of Merri Boys, starring Officer On Duty-fame Aiswarya Raj, unveiled the film’s intriguing first look on Thursday. The poster features four young women with their faces concealed, sparking curiosity about the film’s characters and tone.

Directed by debutant Mahesh Maanas and produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, Merri Boys is set to begin production on October 12 with a traditional pooja ceremony in Kochi.

The film, written by Mahesh Maanas, explores the lives of a group of youngsters and their modern-day relationships. While featuring a mostly fresh cast, Aiswarya Raj plays the titular role of Merri, marking her second major outing after impressing audiences as an antagonist in Officer On Duty.

Newcomer Sreeprasad Chandran has penned the screenplay and dialogues. The technical crew includes Sam C S as the music composer, Faiz Siddik as the cinematographer, and Akash Joseph Varghese as the editor.

Meanwhile, producer Listin Stephen continues to expand his slate with Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil, directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval and starring Kunchacko Boban, and Baby Girl, featuring Nivin Pauly and helmed by Garudan-fame Arun Varma.
