Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game confirms an Onam 2026 theatrical release, unveiling a gritty new poster that teases a violent, action-heavy gangster drama.
Marking 14 years of Dulquer Salmaan in cinema, the makers of I’m Game have announced that the film will arrive in theatres during Onam 2026. While the exact release date is yet to be revealed, the announcement came with a striking new poster that hints at the film’s gritty tone.
The poster showcases Dulquer in a bruised, battle-worn avatar, clutching a gun close to his face with a blood-soaked hand—strongly suggesting an intense, action-packed gangster drama. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, who made a successful debut with RDX (2023), I’m Game marks Dulquer’s return to Malayalam cinema after King of Kotha.
The film’s story is by Nahas, with the screenplay co-written by Bilal Moidu, Ismail Aboobacker and Sajeer Baba, while dialogues are handled by Shahabas Rasheed and Aadarsh Sukumaran. The technical crew includes cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, music composer Jakes Bejoy, editor Chaman Chakko and production designer Ajayan Chalissery, with action choreography by Anbariv.
The ensemble cast features Antony Varghese Pepe in a key role, alongside Tamil filmmaker Mysskin making his Malayalam acting debut. Kathir, Kayadu Lohar and Samyuktha Viswanathan also play pivotal roles. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under Wayfarer Films, I’m Game will release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
The Onam 2026 box office is shaping up to be competitive, with I’m Game set to clash with major releases including Girish AD’s Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, Vysakh’s Khalifa, and Jude Anthany Joseph’s Thudakkam.
