Drishyam 3 to Premiere in USA Ahead of Global Release

Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph’s much-awaited Drishyam 3 is gearing up for release on May 21, coinciding with the superstar’s birthday. Continuing the story of Georgekutty and his family, the film carries forward the narrative after the events of the Varun murder case. Unlike the investigative tone of the second instalment, the third film is said to lean more towards a family drama.

In a recent announcement, the makers revealed that Drishyam 3 will have its world’s first show in the United States. The premiere is scheduled for May 20 at 7:30 pm PST, a day ahead of its official release.

The film reunites key cast members including Meena, Esther Anil, Ansiba Hassan, Murali Gopy, Siddique, and Asha Sharath. The teaser hints at a more introspective Georgekutty, grappling with guilt and the lingering consequences of his past actions.

On the technical front, composer Anil Johnson, cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, and editor Vinayak VS return to continue the franchise’s signature style. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas, with presentation by Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios and Panorama Studios.

With anticipation running high, Drishyam 3 is set to begin its journey on the global stage before arriving in theatres worldwide.
