Dhyan Sreenivasan’s fantasy comedy Thevar completes shoot

The makers of Thevar have announced the completion of filming for the upcoming fantasy comedy starring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead. Written and directed by Nijish Sahadevan, the film was shot extensively across Pollachi and Coimbatore.

Set against the backdrop of the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border, Thevar follows the story of three youngsters from contrasting backgrounds whose lives become intertwined after the discovery of a mysterious statue believed to possess miraculous powers. The unexpected arrival of the idol sets off a chain of humorous and fantastical incidents.

Apart from Dhyan, the film also stars Shaheen Siddique and Roshan Raj in prominent roles. The ensemble cast further includes Thalaivasal Vijay, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Devan, Harisree Ashokan, Sunil Sukhada, Shaju Sreedhar, Major Ravi, Motta Rajendran and Vaiyapuri among others.

On the technical side, the film features cinematography by Eldo Isaac, editing by Ayoob Khan, and music composed by Ouseppachan.

Thevar is produced by Rajan Mottammal under the Horizon Entertainment banner.
