‘Cringe’ Song from ‘Apoorva Puthranmar’ Promises Laughter and Quirk in Equal Measure

The makers of Apoorva Puthranmar, an upcoming Malayalam family comedy, have unveiled their first video song titled “Cringe.” Featuring lead actors Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Bibin George, and Lalu Alex, the peppy and energetic number is composed and sung by Malayali Monkeys, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar and Malayali Monkeys. Choreographed by Richie Richardson, the track offers a vibrant and quirky visual treat that aligns perfectly with the film’s comedic tone.

Directed by Rajith R.L. and Sreejith, and produced by Aarathi Krishna under the banner of Evain Entertainments, the film promises a blend of laughter, suspense, and family drama. The screenplay, story, and dialogues have been penned by Shiva Anchal, Rajith R.L., and Sajith S. The technical crew includes Shento V. Anto as the cinematographer, Shabeer Sayeed as the editor, and background score by William Francis. Music is handled by Malayali Monkeys and Rejimon, while the lyrics also feature contributions from Tito P Thankachan, Vijayaraj, Prasanna, and Chokli Rapper.

The film marks the Malayalam debut of actresses Payal Radhakrishna (popular in Telugu cinema) and Amaira Goswami (from Kannada films). The ensemble cast also includes seasoned actors like Ashokan, Alencier, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Nishanth Sagar, Balaji Sharma, and Pauly Valsan, along with several promising newcomers. VFX is being managed by Playcart and Cookie FX, with Dream Big Films handling distribution. Apoorva Puthranmar is shaping up to be a full-on entertainer packed with fun, surprises, and a fresh dose of madness.
