‘Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies’ Gears Up for Global Release Across 100+ Countries

Director Adhvaith Nayar’s upcoming Malayalam action drama Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is set to make history with a massive global release across more than 100 countries. This unprecedented international rollout is being made possible through a significant distribution partnership between Reel World Entertainment and global film distributor The Plot Pictures.

Described as one of the most impactful overseas distribution deals for a Malayalam film to date, the release will span key international markets including the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Germany. The move signals a bold new chapter for regional Indian cinema aiming to capture a worldwide audience.

Chatha Pacha has garnered immense attention for several reasons. First, it dives into the high-octane world of WWE-style wrestling, offering a mix of stylized action and emotional storytelling on a grand cinematic scale. Second, it boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair, and Ishan Shoukath.

The film is produced by Shihan Shoukath and Ritesh S Ramakrishnan under the Reel World Entertainment banner. At the helm is Adhvaith Nayar—nephew of legendary actor Mohanlal—who has previously worked with acclaimed filmmakers like Jeethu Joseph, Rajeev Ravi, and Mohanlal himself.

Adding to the buzz is the musical debut of iconic composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy in the Malayalam industry. The film’s soundscape will also include lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar, a background score by Mujeeb Majeed, action choreography by Kalai Kingson, and cinematography by Anend C Chandran.
