Festival hit Victoria, starring Meenakshi Jayan and directed by Sivaranjini J, to release in theatres on Nov 28 after global acclaim.
The acclaimed Malayalam film Victoria, which premiered at the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) under the Malayalam Cinema Today section, is set for a theatrical release on November 28.
The film, written, edited, and directed by debutant Sivaranjini J, features Meenakshi Jayan in the lead role. Sivaranjini received the FIPRESCI Award for Best Malayalam Film by a Debut Director at last year’s IFFK, marking a strong entry into the industry.
Earlier this year, Victoria competed in the Asian New Talent section at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival, where Meenakshi Jayan earned the Golden Goblet Award for Best Actress. The film has since traveled across multiple international film festivals, garnering widespread critical acclaim ahead of its home release.
