Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1 confirms March 19 release worldwide despite concerns over Gulf screenings.
The makers of Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1 have confirmed that the film will release worldwide on March 19, putting an end to speculation about a possible delay due to the ongoing tensions in West Asia that could impact screenings in GCC countries.
In an official statement, the team said they had been closely monitoring global developments before deciding to proceed with the scheduled release. They emphasised the importance of keeping the film industry active during challenging times and expressed hope that cinema continues to bring audiences together.
“After careful consideration of various factors — including the need for our industry to thrive during these challenging times — we are glad to confirm that Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1 will release in theatres worldwide on March 19,” the statement read.
The decision comes at a time when several Indian films have been affected by the uncertainty in the region. For instance, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups starring Yash postponed its March release to June 4.
Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and produced by Vijay Babu, the film marks the third instalment in the popular franchise. The project has been confirmed as a two-part story, with the current release serving as the first chapter.
The film sees Jayasurya returning as the beloved character Shaji Pappan, along with franchise regulars including Saiju Kurup, Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan and Dharmajan Bolgatty.
Unlike the earlier films, Aadu 3 also incorporates a period setting as part of its narrative, adding a new dimension to the action-comedy franchise known for its irreverent humour and chaotic adventures.
