Yash’s Toxic Gears Up for 2026: 100-Day Countdown Starts with Stunning Poster

The countdown has officially begun—100 days remain until Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups hits theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026. Marking this milestone, the makers released a striking new poster and unveiled the core creative team behind one of India’s most awaited films.

Toxic has been in the making since early 2022, when Yash, riding high on the success of KGF Chapter 2, began shaping the idea of a dark, twisted fairytale for adults. What started as scattered notes he scribbled during travels grew into a fully developed story when filmmaker Geetu Mohandas came on board. By the end of 2023, the script was locked, setting the stage for a massive pre-production phase that hinted at an ambitious new cinematic universe.

The newly released poster has intensified the hype. It features Yash sitting in a blood-soaked bathtub, muscles taut, body inked, face turned away while a sharp beam of light slices through the darkness—an image that feels raw, violent, intimate, and symbolic. Fans have already begun dissecting every detail.

The film’s release aligns with the festive stretch of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid, giving it a promising four-day holiday opening.

In a Hollywood-style reveal, the team introduced the key technicians. Rajeev Ravi, a National Award-winning cinematographer, leads the visuals. Ravi Basrur, known for the iconic KGF score, handles music and BGM. Editor Ujwal Kulkarni is piecing together the film’s intricate structure. TP Abid heads production design. Adding international flair, Hollywood action director JJ Perry, famous for John Wick, has choreographed major action sequences.
