Vijay Raghavendra is gearing up for his next release, Shreemati Sindoora, following recent projects like Second Case of Kondana and his OTT debut Rakshasa. The film has completed shooting and is expected to arrive in theatres by the end of May. The teaser and songs were recently unveiled at a grand launch event.

Produced under R and R Enterprises by DN Nagireddy, who has also written the story, the film is directed by R Anantharaju and stars Priya Hegde as the female lead. The soundtrack features four songs, each adding to the film’s emotional tone.

Nagireddy describes the project as a long-cherished dream spanning two decades, aimed not only at telling a meaningful story but also at supporting livelihoods within the film industry. He highlighted tracks like ‘Hoo Male’ and a Hanuman-themed song sung by Kailash Kher as major highlights with wide appeal.

The film centres on Sindhoora, symbolising honour and responsibility after marriage, and follows a young man navigating life’s unexpected challenges after marrying the woman he loves. Vijay Raghavendra calls it a complete family entertainer that stands apart from trend-driven genres, appealing to audiences across generations.

Director R Anantharaju emphasises the team’s collective effort and expresses confidence that the story will resonate with viewers. The film has been shot in scenic locations like Mudigere, Sakleshpur, and Chikkamagaluru, adding visual richness to the narrative.

With music by Rajesh Ramnath, lyrics by Kaviraj, K Kalyan, and the director, and cinematography by PKH Das, Shreemati Sindoora promises an emotional and visually engaging theatrical experience.
