Released on Yash’s birthday, the teaser of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups offers a dark, violent glimpse into an edgy cinematic universe, positioning the film as a high-impact, globally ambitious action drama ahead of its March 19 release.

The teaser of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has made a thunderous impact, offering a first glimpse into a grim and unforgiving world led by Yash in a never-seen-before role. Released as a birthday surprise for the star, the teaser immediately establishes the film’s bold tone—raw, stylish, and unapologetically brutal.

Yash steps into the role of Raya, a man who doesn’t announce his dominance but embodies it. The teaser opens amid an unsettling calm that is quickly shattered by violence, with chaos erupting around him. As gunshots echo and smoke engulfs the screen, Raya emerges with chilling composure, his presence alone signalling authority. He isn’t driven by approval or emotion—he moves with certainty, control, and quiet menace.

Helmed by filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, the teaser reflects a carefully crafted cinematic vision where silence, destruction, and power coexist. Every frame is designed to underline Raya’s command over his surroundings, hinting at a narrative rooted in dominance rather than redemption.

The film brings together a formidable ensemble cast featuring Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth, each playing pivotal roles within this dark narrative landscape.

Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, Toxic is designed for a wide global audience, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and more. Supporting the film’s scale is an accomplished technical team, including cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music director Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni, and production designer TP Abid. The action sequences are overseen by Hollywood stunt expert JJ Perry, along with renowned Indian action choreographers Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. Timed with major festivals such as Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa, the film is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious action releases of the year.
