The Rise of Ashoka Locks Key Distribution Partners Ahead of February 27 Release

Sathish Ninasam’s The Rise of Ashoka secures major distributors; trailer to launch grandly on Feb 18.
The Rise of Ashoka, headlined by Sathish Ninasam, is gearing up for its theatrical release on February 27, having secured prominent distribution partners across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. The film will release in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
In Karnataka, distribution will be handled by KVN Productions, known for backing projects like Jana Nayagan and KD. The Telugu version, covering Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, has been acquired by Kala Srushti International, while a noted Tamil Nadu-based distribution house has come on board to release the Tamil version statewide after previewing the film. Industry sources indicate a wide release outside Karnataka as well.
The team is set to unveil the trailer on February 18 at a grand launch event. Several leading names from the Kannada film industry are expected to attend, including V Ravichandran, Yogi, Diganth, Dhananjay, and Vasishta N. Simha, among others.
Set in the 1970s, the film traces the journey of a young revolutionary, delving into themes of resistance and struggle. Apart from playing the lead, Sathish Ninasam has also contributed as a lyricist, singer, and producer. Sapthami Gowda stars as the female lead.
Directed by Vinod V Dhondale and Manu Shedgar, the film is produced under the banners of Vruddhi Creations and Satish Picture House by Sathish Ninasam, Vardhan Hari, and Jaishnavi. The technical crew includes music composer Purnachandra Tejaswi, writer Dayanand TK, and cinematographer Lavit. The supporting cast features B Suresh, Sampath Maitreya, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, and Yash Shetty.
With strong distribution backing and a high-profile trailer launch lined up, The Rise of Ashoka is building solid momentum ahead of its theatrical debut.
