Sudeep’s Mark: Kannada Version Locked for Christmas, Tamil & Telugu Delayed

Kichcha Sudeep’s upcoming action entertainer Mark is all set to release in theatres on December 25, with the team aggressively promoting the film ahead of its festive launch. However, the makers have now announced a change in plans for its multilingual rollout.

While the Kannada version of Mark will arrive as scheduled on Christmas, the Tamil and Telugu versions have been postponed. Instead of a December 25 release, these versions will now hit theatres a week later, on January 1, 2026.

Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Mark features Sudeep as police officer Ajay Markandeya, popularly known as ‘Mark,’ who is tasked with rescuing kidnapped children within a tense 18-hour deadline. The trailer sets the tone for a gritty, high-stakes narrative, diving into the dark worlds of human trafficking and political manipulation.

The film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Vikranth, Yogi Babu, Guru Somasundaram, Roshni Prakash, Archana Kottige, Pratap Narayan, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Mahantesh Hiremath, and Ashwin Hassan.

Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Mark brings together a skilled technical crew with Ajaneesh B Loknath composing the music, Shekar Chandra handling cinematography, and Shivakumar J as the production designer. The action-heavy film features choreography by an extensive stunt team comprising Stunt Silva, Supreme Sundar, Ravi Verma, Kevin Kumar, Vikram Mor, and Subramani. Dance sequences are choreographed by Shobhi Paulraj, Dinesh, and Rajakalai Kumar.

With its Kannada release locked for Christmas and other versions following soon after, Mark continues to build anticipation as one of Sudeep’s most intense action outings.
