Sruthi Hariharan is back on a film set after six months. She joined the team of the Shoonya directed Head Bush that is being frontlined by Dhananjaya. She says she is thrilled to be back doing a big Kannada film after a very long time and is enjoying the time on the set of the MP Jayaraj biopic.
“The character I play is based on a person who existed in real life. The thing about doing a biopic, where characters are based on someone’s real life, is that they played an integral part in others’ lives. Hence, there is more pressure to do justice to these roles than on those created on paper,” shares Sruthi.
For Sruthi, there are many reasons why she is glad to have accepted to be a part of this film. “One of the biggest plus points for me to give my nod was the fact that it is written by Agni Sridhar, one of the best writers we have. Apart from this, the team also includes people I have worked with and knew only too closely back in the day. This makes it all the more exciting,” she adds.
Sruthi, who has done her fair share of mass and class films, further explains, “What will make Head Bush stand apart from most films is that it will strike a nice balance between both the classes and masses. This film will cater to both.” Sruthi has joined the ensemble cast that includes Payal Rajput, Vasishta N Simha, Yogi and Prakash Belawadi.
