Komal Kumar and Meghana Raj’s Sangeetha Bar and Restaurant wraps filming after a 75-day shoot across coastal and Malnad Karnataka.
The shooting of Sangeetha Bar and Restaurant, starring Komal Kumar and Meghana Raj, has officially wrapped after an extensive 75-day schedule.
Directed by Sandesh Shetty Azri and produced by Vikas Shetty, the film was shot across scenic locations in the coastal and Malnad regions of Karnataka, including Kundapur, Shivamogga and Thirthahalli.
One of the major highlights of the production is its scale. The team constructed seven large sets on a two-acre property in Valtoor village near Kundapur, with nearly 90 percent of the film shot within these specially built sets.
Although the film carries the title Sangeetha Bar and Restaurant, the story is said to unfold across two contrasting worlds. According to director Sandesh Shetty Azri, the first half revolves around events in a bar, while the second half shifts to a sacred setting referred to as Devara Thaana. While both names connect to the narrative, the film will officially release under a single title due to certification rules.
Komal Kumar takes on a double role in the film, portraying both a court painter and a film director. Meanwhile, Meghana Raj appears in two distinct characters—a queen in the temple-set portion and the female lead in the bar-centric storyline.
The supporting cast includes Pramod Shetty, Prakash Thuminad, Vajradeer Jain, Utsav, Karthik Rao, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Sirija, Varadhan, Karan, Radhika Rao, Divyashree and Akshatha. Director Sandesh Shetty Azri also appears in a brief role.
With filming now completed, the team has shifted focus to post-production as they prepare the film for release.
