Samhaara is inspired by the 2017 Tamil movie Adhe Kangal, written and directed by Rohin Venkatesan.

Samhaara directed by Guru Deshpande is an entertaining thriller which keeps you engaged till the end. Guru Deshpande has remained true to the original. The Plot: Sri played by Cheeranjivi Sarja is a blind chef who runs a restaurant in Mysuru. Janaki (Kavya Shetty), a television anchor who knows Sri for 10 years falls in love with him. Sri falls in love with another girl Nandini (Hariprriya), who he has recently met. He decides to help her as she is in financial trouble. Meanwhile, he meets with an accident and remains immobilized for few weeks. He finds that Nandini is missing after he returns to normalcy. Sri then decides to go in search of her with the help of Rajahuli, a police constable played by Chikkanna. Will he able to search her? How he handles the situation forms the crux of the story. Samhaara is an out and out commercial film where Cheeranjivi Sarja and Chikkana go by their characters and perform brilliantly. Hariprriya with a different kind of role is the star of the show. Kavya Shetty too does a neat job. Samhaara gets an average critic rating of 3.5 out of 5.0.
