Remo D’Souza praises Wild Tiger Safari, saying its creative energy reminds him of his ABCD days, at the film’s grand teaser launch in Dubai.

The teaser of Wild Tiger Safari, directed by Chandramouli—best known as the dialogue writer of the KGF franchise—was unveiled at a grand event held at Dubai’s Global Village. Adding star power to the launch, Bollywood filmmaker and celebrated choreographer Remo D’Souza released the teaser and expressed his admiration for the film’s creative spirit.

Speaking at the event, Remo drew parallels between Wild Tiger Safari and his own directorial debut ABCD. “When I made ABCD, there was a distinct creative energy on set. Watching this teaser, I felt a similar vibe. Every artiste seems to have contributed creatively, and that collective energy is visible on screen,” he said.

Wild Tiger Safari marks Chandramouli’s next directorial venture after Dilmaar. The filmmaker described the project as a stylised gangster drama driven by performance and action. “The idea was to combine tiger-like movement and dance with mass elements. It’s like connecting dots to form a rangoli. With the cast already in place, I built the story around their strengths,” he explained.

The Dubai launch is being hailed as a milestone for Kannada cinema, as it is reportedly the first time a Kannada film has hosted a promotional event at Global Village—a venue rarely used even by major Bollywood productions.

The film stars Sheethil Poojary in the lead role, with Nimika Ratnakar as the female protagonist. Designed as a bilingual project, Wild Tiger Safari will release in both Kannada and Hindi, signalling the makers’ ambition to reach a wider, pan-Indian audience. The film is produced under the VK Film banner by Dubai-based producers Vinod Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Prasanna Kumar, and Gurudatta Ganiga.

Chandramouli revealed that about six days of shooting remain, including a song and key action sequences, while post-production is already underway. The teaser hints at a gritty action-revenge narrative, showcasing Sheethil in a rugged, mass-driven avatar supported by stylised action set pieces.

The supporting cast includes Avinash and Achyuth Kumar, while popular dancers Dharmesh and Sushant Pujari add a Bollywood connect. Artists associated with the ABCD franchise are also part of the film, strengthening its cross-industry appeal. Music is composed by Sachin Basrur, and the makers are targeting a theatrical release in late March or early April.
