Rakshit Tirthahalli’s Timmana Mottegalu Set for June 27 Theatrical Release

The makers of Timmana Mottegalu, directed by Rakshit Tirthahalli, have officially announced its theatrical release for June 27. This news was revealed alongside the lyrical video launch of Kaadu Daari, a poignant track rendered by Vasuki Vaibhav. The film is produced under the Shreekrishna Productions banner and marks the production debut of US-based NRI Adarsh Iyengar from Shivamogga.

Adapted from a short story in Rakshit’s celebrated collection Kaadina Nentaru, Timmana Mottegalu weaves a heartfelt narrative that explores the deep connections between humans, nature, and animals. Shot entirely in and around Shivamogga and Chikkamagaluru in a single schedule, the film authentically portrays the tranquil life of the Western Ghats and the emotional fabric of its hill-dwelling communities.

The film has already garnered recognition, with its world premiere held in Dallas, USA, where it was met with positive audience reactions. It was also showcased at the Kolkata International Film Festival and earned a Special Jury Mention at the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival in Delhi.

The ensemble cast includes Keshav Guttahalli, Suchendra Prasad, Ashika Somashekar, Sringeri Ramanna, Pragati Prabhu, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Master Harsha, Vinay Kanive, Prithviraj Kopp, and Pranesh Kulegadde. Behind the scenes, the film boasts cinematography by Praveen S, editing by Kemparaju B S, and music by Hemanth Jois.
