Pramod Shetty & Shruti Hariharan Lead Road Thriller NH 66

Pramod Shetty and Shruti Hariharan headline NH 66, a road thriller that was recently launched with a muhurath ceremony. The film also features Rajesh Nataranga in a significant role.

Written, directed, and produced by debutant Manjunath TR under Raya Films, the project promises an engaging narrative set across a high-stakes journey. The title NH 66 was officially unveiled during the launch event.

The story unfolds over the course of two nights, charting a tense journey from Mangaluru to Goa. Centered around a limited set of characters, the film carries the intriguing tagline, “One Highway. Many Secrets.”

Sharing insights about his debut, Manjunath TR revealed that he previously worked under filmmaker Bhargava before moving abroad to study screenwriting. He described NH 66 as a road-based thriller and noted that both Pramod Shetty and Shruti Hariharan came on board after being impressed by the narration.

Pramod Shetty plays a cab driver, with the story unfolding through his journey. Expressing his excitement, he highlighted his collaboration with Shruti Hariharan and Rajesh Nataranga.

Shruti Hariharan, on the other hand, said the film offered her a refreshing departure from her earlier roles, adding that she was drawn to its unique approach and storytelling style.

The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Suneeth Halageri and music composer Swaminathan. Shooting is set to commence in Mangaluru from April 6.
