A dog’s loyalty beyond death drives this thriller–horror drama led by Dr Leela Mohan, releasing across Karnataka on November 28.
Nayi Idae Yecharikae (Beware of Dogs) gives a fresh twist to a familiar phrase as it becomes the title of a Kannada film that blends thriller, horror, and heartfelt emotion. Headlined and produced by Dr Leela Mohan PVR — a medical professional who has stepped into acting — the film delves into the unbreakable loyalty of a dog, stretching even beyond death. The story promises suspense, sentiment, and a deeper reflection on the human–animal bond.
Dr Leela Mohan plays Dr Leela, with the narrative exploring the psychological and emotional impact of a dog bite while portraying the intense connection between humans and pets. Directed by Kali Gowda in his second outing, the film features a strong ensemble, including Pramod Shetty, Mangalore Dinesh, Prabhik Mogaveer, Bala Rajwadi, Divya, Manasa, Chandana, Comedy Jaggappa, Anirudh Mahesh, Nagendra Arus, Yuva, Sreeni, Sunil, and Kali Gowda himself.
Produced by Lavanya Gadey under Laughing Peacock Productions, the film’s story, screenplay, dialogues, and choreography are all crafted by director Kali Gowda. AJ Kumar handles cinematography, while King Prem oversees editing.
With post-production completed, Nayi Idae Yecharikae is set for a grand Karnataka-wide theatrical release on November 28.
