Moda Kavida Vathavarana Sets June 26 Release, Explores Sci-Fi Romance

Filmmaker Simple Suni is set to explore a relatively uncharted space in Kannada cinema with Moda Kavida Vathavarana, a science fiction romance scheduled to hit theatres on June 26.

The film marks the debut of Sheelam as a lead actor, transitioning from supporting roles to headlining a project backed by his mentor Suni. The title, which translates to “A Clouded Atmosphere,” hints at a narrative blending emotional depth with speculative elements, aiming to offer something fresh within the industry.

Produced under the banner of Ram Movies by Mysuru Ramesh, Srirangaraju, Lokesh Belavadi and Goa Ramesh—known for Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe—the film adopts a mentor-driven approach to launching new talent.

On the technical front, cinematography is handled by Santosh Rai Pathaje, while music is composed by Judah Sandhy and Jade. Editing is by Aditya Kashyap.

The film has already begun generating buzz with its single ‘Nannedeya Haadondanu’, sung by Sanjith Hegde, hinting at a strong musical backbone.
