Majestic-2, starring Bharath Kumar and directed by Ramu, gets a U/A certificate and readies for a November release with a gritty Bengaluru backdrop.

Over two decades after Majestic (2002) launched Darshan as a leading man, the iconic title returns with Majestic-2, gearing up for a November release. Produced by H Anandappa under the Amma Enterprises banner, the film has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board, clearing its way to theatres.

This time, Bharath Kumar, son of senior producer Shilpa Srinivas, takes center stage. Written and directed by Ramu, Majestic-2 explores the journey of a boy growing up in Bengaluru’s Majestic area — a space defined by grit, ambition, and the underworld. The narrative delves into the harsh realities of survival and how one’s surroundings can shape destiny.

The film stars Sanhita Vinya opposite Bharath, with Shruti portraying his mother. Shot across authentic locations like Majestic, Ramoahalli, HMT, Sakre Adda (near Makali), RT Nagar’s Nisarga House, and Murugha Math in Chitradurga, the film aims to capture the raw pulse of the city.

Adding to the excitement, the makers revealed that Majestic-2 features a special hero introduction song filmed at RS Gowda Studio, featuring Malashree in a cameo appearance. On the technical front, the film boasts music by Vinu Manasu, cinematography by Venus Murthy, and action choreography by Chinnayya.

Although the sequel borrows its title from the original Majestic, the story stands independent, carrying forward the spirit but not the plot of the 2002 classic.
