Blending folklore, faith, and grandeur, Koragajja is all set for a Pan-India release. The team behind the Sudheer Attavar directorial recently unveiled the film’s first look and 3D motion poster in a spectacular cultural event.

A tale deeply rooted in the spiritual soil of coastal Karnataka is now set to echo across India. Filmmaker Sudheer Attavar’s ambitious project, Koragajja, will make its Pan-India debut soon, releasing in six languages under the banners of Success Films and Thrivikram Cinemas.

The film’s promotional campaign began with a grand unveiling of its first look teaser and 3D motion poster, a first-of-its-kind initiative in South Indian cinema.

The event combined cinematic spectacle with traditional celebration, featuring a colorful procession led by Dakshina Kannada’s native percussionists and Udupi’s all-women tiger dance troupe. Amid the rhythmic beats of drums and flutes, two massive cutouts of Koragajja were revealed, followed by floral tributes from dignitaries and the film’s team, including former minister Motamma, Vijayalakshmi Singh, producer Trivikram Sapalya, and the cast.

Director Sudheer Attavar spoke about the film’s long journey, sharing that production began three years ago and endured numerous hurdles before completion. “It’s been a test of endurance and passion. We wanted to present Koragajja’s story with honesty and scale, and we’ve done just that,” he said. The film features 31 songs composed by Gopi Sundar, with an ensemble of singers representing various regions of India. The narrative follows Koragajja’s transformation from a mortal being to a divine spirit, a story said to have taken root more than two decades ago.

Producer Trivikram Sapalya revealed his emotional connection to the subject, noting that his family venerates Koragajja. “When I heard the story, I knew it had to be told. With a dedicated team and seasoned technicians, we’ve crafted a film that carries both faith and artistry,” he added. The team plans to release the film by the end of November.

Veteran actress Bhavya, portraying Queen Panjandayi, shared her delight in acting alongside Kabir Bedi, calling it a memorable collaboration that brought depth to her role.

Actress Shruti, who essays Koragajja’s foster mother, recounted a particularly demanding sequence that required 28 hours of nonstop shooting. “The energy on set was incredible. The director never lost focus, and I believe the blessings of Koragajja guided us all through this film,” she said.

With its blend of folklore, music, and emotion, Koragajja promises to be more than just a film, it’s a spiritual journey captured on the big screen.
