Jodettu Completes Second Schedule; 80% Shoot Done

The shooting of Jodettu, starring Chikkanna and Sunil, is progressing steadily, with nearly 80 per cent of the film already completed.

The project is directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Sudhakar S Raj, who has wrapped major portions of the film over 68 days of shooting.

The team recently concluded the second schedule in Karekatte village of Nagamangala taluk in Mandya district. A specially constructed 1990s village set served as the backdrop for many key sequences filmed during this phase.

Earlier, the first schedule was completed in Chikkamagaluru, followed by a fight sequence shot in Kanakapura. The second schedule lasted 25 days and involved most of the principal cast.

The makers are now preparing for the final schedule, which will feature a grand climax. A massive set is currently being erected for the sequence, and the climactic face-off of the “Jodettus” will be choreographed by stunt director Arjun.

The story is written by Mahesh Dev DN Pura, with the screenplay by Sudhakar S Raj and his team. The film is produced by K Somashekhar under the banner Akash Entertainment.

Music is composed by V Harikrishna, while Mohan B Kere serves as art director and K M Prakash handles editing. Dialogues are written by K L Rajashekhar and Raghu Niduvalli.

The supporting cast includes Ramesh Bhat, Rangayana Raghu, Kalyani, Shivaraj KR Pete, Kuri Prathap and Dharmanna Kadur.

Blending sentiment, action and comedy, Jodettu is planned for release later this year in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.
