In 'Choomantar' Sharan, Aditi and Chikkanna play new-age ghost hunters

Multi-starrer Kannada film Choomantar directed by Navaneet, of Karva fame, is said to be all about the supernatural. The team of film has completed shoot schedules in London, Uttarakhand, Mysuru, and Bengaluru in record time.
“We use the word choomantar with children, especially, when they are frightened of the unknown or negative energies. In this film, Sharan, Aditi and Chikkanna play new-age ghost hunters. So, you won’t see them wearing all those beads and chains or sporting ash on their foreheads and wearing traditional garments. These ghost hunters are tech-savvy, suave and modern in approach towards their profession,” explains Navaneet.
Meghana Gaonkar and Prabhu Mundkur play an NRI couple. The story revolves around incidents that take place in their lives.
