Gautami Pairs with Rishi in Mangalapuram

Gautami Jadhav, popular from Satya and Bigg Boss, returns to films as Rishi’s leading lady in Mangalapuram. Directed by Ranjith Raj Suvarna, the murder-mystery unfolds in the titular town with shoots in Moodbidri and beyond. Produced under Sri Varahi Creations, the film features music by Anoop Seelin.
Actress Gautami Jadhav, who rose to fame through the TV serial Satya and her stint on Bigg Boss, is set to make her big-screen comeback with Mangalapuram. She plays the female lead opposite actor Rishi in this upcoming murder mystery drama. Although she has acted in a few films earlier, they didn’t bring her much recognition, leading her to focus on television before returning now to cinema.
Mangalapuram is directed by Ranjith Raj Suvarna, known for his Tulu films Umil and Dombarata. The story is set in the fictional town of Mangalapuram and revolves around a gripping murder mystery. The movie is currently being shot in and around Moodbidri, with additional schedules planned in Karkala, Tirthahalli, Madikeri, and Bengaluru.
Earlier, Gautami had revealed her character by sharing a poster, where she plays Sukanya, the atheist’s wife in a land of believers. She expressed excitement about the role and sought audience support for her comeback. The film is produced under the banner of Sri Varahi Creations by Prasanna Tantri and Ram Prasad.
