Ganesh–Srinivas Raju Film Turns Bilingual; Kannada–Hindi Release Planned for 2026

Ganesh and director Srinivas Raju, who last delivered the successful Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, have reunited for a new project under Samruddhi Manjunath’s KVC Productions, presented by Viraat Sai Creations. With only two songs and a few talkie portions remaining, the team has already entered post-production, with a title reveal expected soon.

In a major development, the makers have decided to craft the film as a Kannada–Hindi bilingual. Director Srinivas Raju says the choice reflects the growing demand for South Indian cinema in the Hindi belt. “Hindi audiences are consuming South content more than ever. This felt like the right time to introduce a new shade of Ganesh to them,” he explains.

Ganesh is already familiar to North Indian viewers—his iconic 2006 hit Mungaru Male was widely discussed across the country and later remade in Hindi by Boney Kapoor. Raju stresses that this film will not be a dubbed version but a dedicated Hindi adaptation, with specialists being brought in to create authentic dialogues and lyrics. “I truly want to tap into the Hindi market,” he adds.

The film introduces Devika Bhat in her debut role and marks Malvika Sharma’s entry into Kannada cinema. Music comes from Hesham Abdul Wahab, known for his acclaimed Malayalam and Telugu work, in his first Kannada outing. The visuals are handled by cinematographer Venkat Prasad.

Aiming for a Summer 2026 release, this project is set to be Ganesh’s first film of the year. The actor is currently balancing multiple commitments, including Yours Sincerely Raam, Pinaka with Dhananjay, and a film with Arasu Anthare. He has also signed a new project with director Chethan Kumar, expected to begin production in early 2026.
