Chandan Kumar’s Flirt Shifts to November 28 for a Bigger Karnataka Release

Actor Chandan Kumar, known for his work in television and films, is all set to make his directorial debut with the romantic comedy Flirt. Initially planned for a November 7 release, the team has now postponed the film to November 28 to ensure a bigger and more impactful launch across Karnataka.

The decision was made to avoid a clash with running releases, particularly Brat, the successful film starring Chandan’s close friend Krishna. Additionally, post-production work is still underway, and the team wants the film to arrive in theatres with top-notch quality.

Produced by Everest Pictures, Flirt carries the tagline A Pure Love Story. Chandan not only directs but also leads the cast, sharing the screen with Nimika Ratnakar and Akshatha Bopanna.

The film has already generated strong buzz thanks to its viral friendship anthem Nee Nanna Jeeva, sung by Kiccha Sudeep, which continues to trend online and amplify interest.

While rooted in romcom territory, Chandan says the film goes deeper, exploring affection and emotional connection. “Flirting isn’t just teasing — it can also reflect care and warmth. There’s a bit of love in everyone’s dove,” he explains.

The film promises a colourful mix of characters and even introduces a psychological twist for added intrigue. The supporting cast includes Avinash, Shruti, Sadhu Kokila, Girish Shivanna, and Vinay Gowda.

Music is by Nakul Abhyankar, who composed the viral anthem, with Jassie Gift contributing three additional tracks and the background score. Cinematographer HC Venu brings his signature polished visuals to the film.
