Bhuuvaan Ponnanna Set to Bring Kodava Flavour in His Big-Screen Comeback with Hello 1 2 3

After a significant break from cinema, Kannada actor Bhuuvaan Ponnanna is all set to return to the big screen with Hello 1 2 3. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Yograj Bhat and featuring music by V Harikrishna, the film marks a fresh chapter in Bhuuvaan’s acting journey. Best known for his work in Randhawa, the actor described this opportunity as “a blessing in disguise.”

Speaking to Bangalore Times, Bhuuvaan shared, “Though I enjoyed spending time with my family, welcoming my beautiful daughter Tridevi Ponnakkah, and successfully running my business, I truly missed cinema. I’m grateful that my big comeback is with a director I never imagined I’d get to work with. It still feels like a ‘pinch me’ moment.”

Director Yograj Bhat, known for weaving strong cultural and regional influences into his stories, believes every actor carries their roots wherever they go. Reflecting this vision, Bhuuvaan shared that his Kodava identity will find subtle expression in the film, adding authenticity to his role.

The actor further revealed that Hello 1 2 3 will carry Yograj Bhat’s signature Malnad touch, reminiscent of the magic of Gaalipata. “The film will bring lush green visuals of Karnataka, soulful music, and a fun storyline. When I first met Yograj sir, he told me he makes films tailor-made for actors, and this one is tailor-made for me,” he added.
